Tip #11: Set ticket purchase limit and be in complete control of your sales process

Welcome to another "Tips and Tricks" post from TrainerCentral. Today we'll take a look at the "Ticket Purchase Limit Per Learner" feature and learn how it can help you plan and manage your sales strategies. With this feature, you can specify how many times a learner can purchase a specific ticket.

Let's say Sarah, a trainer at  Zylker Training Academy, and has created a course titled “Business English” for her learners. She offers a free ticket, “Free Skill Upgrade” and sets the course access to one week and the ticket purchase limit per learner to one. Learners who purchased the free ticket will have access to the course for one week. They won’t be able to access the course after one week or use the ticket again because they’ve maxed out the access duration and ticket usage. To continue their learning, they need to purchase another ticket. In short, this feature gives you control on how tickets can be purchased and used by learners.

Similarly, consider selling a course titled “Mastering Articulation” with two ticket options: a one-time payment ticket named “Golden ticket” and a subscription ticket named “Platinum ticket.” You can set the duration access of the Golden ticket to two months and limit the number of tickets purchased to one. Learners who have purchased a Golden ticket will have the option to purchase a Platinum ticket to continue their learning after completing the course within the allocated period. This provides more flexibility for learners purchasing your courses and can boost your sales revenue.

The steps to use this feature are as follows:

  1. Navigate to the Pricing tab of the course.
  2. Click the Add button under any of the preferred pricing tab. The ticket configuration window will open.
  3. Enter the required fields and specify the Ticket Purchase Limit Per Learner field.
  4. Click Submit.


    We've implemented this feature for all ticket types, giving you complete control over your learners' purchases. In short, the “Ticket Purchase Limit Per Learner” feature can be leveraged for greater profits.
