Increase course enrollments with hour-based access

Hello trainers,

Have you ever wondered why there are no buyers for your course, even though it’s packed with valuable insights? It certainly has nothing to do with the quality of your content. Instead, learners may not fully understand what your course offers, or the long-term commitment required may feel overwhelming.

Welcome to the TrainerCentral Tips and Tricks series. In this post, you’ll discover how to overcome this challenge and how offering hour-based access to your courses can help you market them more effectively.

Let’s look at how this works in a real scenario.

Imagine you create a SEO marketing course and offer your learners multiple ticket options, such as subscription, payment plans, and a one-time payment. Now as a strategic move, you can offer the one-time ticket as hour-based access, for example, 72 hours. This enables learners to enroll and start learning without a long-term commitment.

They can use this time to gain knowledge on important topics, take part in tests, and participate in live lessons. In short, this gives your learners a sneak peek into your course and helps them experience its value. Eventually, if it interests them, they may choose to purchase a subscription or payment plan to continue their learning, and this helps you boost your revenue.

How to offer an hour-based course.

  1. Navigate to the pricing tab of the course and click the Add button within One-Time Payment/Free plan. The pricing window will be displayed.
  2. Fill in the required fields.

  3. Choose Hour from the drop-down under Enrollment Duration Access.

  4. Click Submit to apply changes.

How to use the hour-based access to attract more learners.

  1. Promote easily achievable lessons: Highlight key lessons in your course description that learners can complete within the access window.

  2. Offer flexible access duration options: Provide multiple access options, such as 24-hour, 48-hour, or 72-hour access, so learners can choose what best fits their schedule.

  3. Re-engage with inactive learners: Offer inactive learners access to the course for a limited number of hours, giving them an opportunity to revisit and reinforce important concepts.

  4. Entice new learners with limited-time offers: Use hour-based access under the free plan during new course launches to attract first-time learners and showcase your course value.

  5. Offer access during course updates or relaunches: Grant hour-based access to your updated or relaunched course so learners can explore new content, understand improvements, and decide to enroll with confidence.

Use hour-based access to make your courses more accessible and appealing. This helps spark learners’ interest and encourages them to purchase additional tickets to enhance their knowledge further.
