Hi everyone!
Welcome to another tips and tricks post from TrainerCentral. Today's article will shed light on the Academy Dashboard feature and how analyzing the data will help increase your academy performance.
Consider this scenario: Zylker academy, an online training institute, opened two years ago. Even though the academy is running successfully, enrollment has significantly dropped. To bring in more learners, the academy decides to run a marketing campaign. The academy needs to analyze data to know when to run the campaign.
With the Academy Dashboard, you get a comprehensive report on key metrics that helps in refining and optimizing the performance of your training organization.
What does the dashboard show?
The academy dashboard gives an account of new signups, the number of students enrolled (in at least one course), and the number of students who have completed at least one course successfully. This can be viewed for any specific period.
An example of a dashboard displaying the learner enrollments for a period between October 2020 to February 2022 is displayed in the image below.
What can the dashboard be used for?
The dashboard can be used for multiple use cases. A few are mentioned below.
- The stats
can be configured to display the number of new learner signups over a
specific period. With this data, you can see on the graph the months
when there is a dip in enrollment, and provide discounts or affordable
payment models to increase the inflow of learners.
- Another use case is when many students enroll, but the data analytics on the number of learners who have completed a course is low. Analyzing the graph, you can find the period when the event repeats, and plan a live workshop or one-on-one sessions at that time. This allows the learner to be more intentional about completing their course.
- When speaking of campaigns, you can launch one when there is a drop in the number of new signups. For instance, let's assume that, based on research, there's a new benefit for a skill your learning academy offers in a course. This can be a unique selling point of your course and a social media campaign can be launched around this.
How do you view the dashboard?
The dashboard can be accessed by clicking on the Dashboard option in the left side pane on the main course page.
Note: The academy dashboard can be accessed only by the admins.
