Configure SEO settings for your site

Having a good site title and description helps your site rank better in search engine results. When a site uses relevant keywords to the ones being searched for, your page has a higher probability of being viewed by a relevant prospect. With proper search engine optimization (SEO), the number of visitors who click on your school increases, thereby increasing the potential of people signing up for your courses.

TrainerCentral gives you a separate segment to easily add your relevant keywords, configure a optimized site title and description, and also add any SEO tracking analytics that you wish to add your pages. The fields that you can configure for SEO are discussed below.

SEO settings

Site title:

This is the title that shows up on search results when someone searches for your site or a domain related to your school.

Site description:

You can add a short description of your school that is relevant to your target audience and also matches the nature of your training business, making it easier for  prospects to find it in relevent searches.

Meta Keywords:

Identify keywords relevant to your company and topics to make sure your school appears when a specific set of keywords is searched online. Add those relevant keywords in this section so that your pages are easily indexed to the relevant audience.

Tracking code:

Tools like Google analytics, Hotjar, and Javascript help track your visitor traffic, engagement analytics, and other site-related information when added. TrainerCentral allows you to add those tracking codes (if you wish) so that you can make better data-driven decisions related to your business.

Disallow site to be indexed by search engines:

If for any reason you do not want your site to be indexed by search engines, you can always go to "Do not allow site to be indexed by search engines" and toggle that setting on. This could be useful when your school is not quite ready to take in learners yet or your PR activities might still be in the funnel for the grand launch of your courses. For whatever reason, you can easily choose to NOT show your school site in any search engine's results if you wish.

Note: The settings updated here will reflect for the SEO settings your course sites and live workshop pages too.
