Custom Forms

TrainerCentral allows you to create a custom form to suit your specific data collection requirements which you can add to your website, course pages etc.

Create and edit a custom form

1. To create a custom form, navigate to the Forms section under the Settings tab from the left pane and click on Add new form 



2. Enter a name and description for the form after which you can add various fields according to your convenience.


3. Once you create a form, you can see it listed under the section after which you can preview and edit the form anytime. 

What are custom fields?
Custom Fields are fields that do not have any pre-filed text label/field name or attributes (like the options under a Radio menu) to it. You are free to drag and drop any custom field you prefer and edit the field name and options to suit the needs of your form.

What are master fields?
Master fields are customized fields that you can incorporate in all your forms. The information received from the forms can be viewed under each learner's reports.

You can create and customize fields here and save them, after which you can reuse these fields across all forms in your academy when you edit them.  You can just drag and drop these fields directly to the form being edited without having to configure a field all over again.

View form entries

All the data entries of a particular form that your learners provide are captured under the Forms section and can be viewed by clicking on Entries next to the respective form name. 



Add a custom form to your website 

1. To add a custom created form to your academy site, navigate to the Site tab and click on Edit



2. Add a new section by clicking on the plus icon (which appears in between sections) and choose Forms



3. Now you can choose any form available in your academy and it will be added to your site accordingly.
