All AI-generated content is created as a Draft, allowing you to review, edit, and publish it when you're ready.

Before you begin  

• Zia must be configured for your academy before you can use AI features. If Zia hasn't been configured yet, see Set up Zia in TrainerCentral.

• Zia is available to Admins and Trainers.

• The Zia button is available in the top-right corner of your TrainerCentral academy.

• AI-generated content remains in Draft until you publish it.

Access Zia

Click Zia from the top-right corner of your academy to open the panel.

From here, you can select one of the available actions or enter your own prompt.

Zia currently supports the following actions:

Create  

• Course outline

• Standalone assessment

• Question bank

• Add questions to a course

Analyze  

• Course performance

  Note: Analyze Course Performance is unavailable in certain regions.

Create a course outline  

Use Zia to generate a structured course outline based on a topic.

To create a course outline:

1. Open Zia and select Create Course Outline. Zia will ask you a few questions about the course, such as the topic, difficulty level, and duration. Provide the required details to generate the course outline. Alternatively, you can describe the course you want to create and submit your prompt directly.

2. Review the generated draft.

The generated draft includes:

• Course description

• Estimated duration

• Difficulty level

• Modules

• Lessons within each module

Click View Details to review the complete course structure.

You can then:

• Approve & Create to create the course as a draft.

• Regenerate to generate a new version.

• Discard to remove the draft.

Note: Zia generates the course structure. Lesson content can be generated separately.

Create a standalone assessment  

Generate a standalone assessment based on a topic or learning objective.

To create an assessment:

1. Open Zia and select Create Standalone Assessment or describe the assessment and submit your prompt.

2. Review the generated assessment.

The generated assessment includes:

• Assessment description

• Question types

• Number of questions

• Passing criteria

• AI-generated questions

After reviewing the draft, you can:

• Approve & Create

• Regenerate

• Discard

Build a Question Bank  

Generate a new Question Bank for a specific topic.

To build a Question Bank:

1. Open Zia and select Build Question Bank or describe the topic and submit your prompt.

2. Review the generated questions.

3. Approve the draft to create the Question Bank.

Zia creates a new Question Bank based on your prompt.

Add test to a course  

Use Zia to generate questions for your existing learning content.

To generate questions:

1. Open Zia and select Add Test to My Course.

2. Select the destination for the generated questions.

3. Describe the questions you want to generate and submit your prompt.

4. Review the generated draft and approve it.

Zia doesn't automatically reference your existing course content when generating questions. To generate relevant results, include the required context or learning objectives in your prompt.

Analyze course performance  

Generate a summary of learner performance for an existing course.

To analyze course performance:

1. Open Zia and select Analyze Course Performance.

2. Review the generated summary.

Zia summarizes information available in your existing course reports.

Note: Course performance summaries are currently unavailable for SCORM courses.

View revenue summary  

Generate a summary of your academy's revenue.

To view the revenue summary:

1. Open Zia and select Revenue Summary.

2. Review the generated summary.

The report summarizes information from your existing revenue reports, including metrics such as:

• Revenue

• Transactions

• Average order value

• Top-performing products

Select View Full Breakdown to open the complete report.

Review AI-generated drafts  

All content generated by Zia is created as a draft before it is added to your academy.

After reviewing the generated content, you can:

• Approve & Create to save the content as a draft.

• Regenerate to replace the current output with a newly generated version.

• Discard to delete the generated draft.

You can continue editing the generated content after it has been created.

Notes  

• AI-generated content is created as a Draft and must be published before it becomes available to learners.

• Zia summarizes data from existing TrainerCentral reports. It doesn't generate additional analytics beyond the available reports. Individual learner reports for specific courses aren't currently available.

• Course performance summaries are currently unavailable for SCORM courses.

• Zia doesn't automatically use your existing course content as context. Include the necessary context in your prompt to generate relevant results.

• Conversation history is temporary and isn't retained between sessions. Refreshing the page, clearing the chat, or remaining inactive for an extended period starts a new session.
