Zoho Flow is an integration platform that lets you connect your favorite apps together helping you save time, simplify tasks and reduce workload. With Zoho Flow, you no longer need to learn code to integrate helping you set up workflows to automate information exchange among the apps you use. Using the integration, you can integrate TrainerCentral with hundreds of apps with ease. 
 
Before we go further, it is important that you know the following two things:
 
  1. A trigger is an initial event that happens in one app. 
  2. An action is the event that Zoho Flow automatically performs in another app based on that trigger.
 

Triggers and Actions supported by TrainerCentral

 
You can design workflows where TrainerCentral is the trigger (i.e., creating a new session in TrainerCentral triggers an automated action), and where TrainerCentral is the action (i.e., doing something in another app/service will automatically trigger the action of inviting a prospect to a course in TrainerCentral). Let's look at the various triggers and actions supported by TrainerCentral. 
 

Triggers supported: 

  1. Course Completed: Triggers when any learner completes 100% of a course in the academy. 
  2. New sign-up to academy: Triggers when a new learner signs up for the academy. 
  3. Course enrolled: Triggers when a learner enrolls for a course.  
  4. Ticket purchased:  Triggers when a learner pays for any ticket in the academy.
  5. Live Workshop created: Triggers when a live workshop is created in the academy.
  6. Live workshop - Learner registered: Triggers when a learner registers for a live workshop in an academy
  7. Live workshop - Learner joined: Triggers when a learner attends a live workshop.

Actions supported:

  1. Invite learner to a course: Sends an email inviting a learner to join a course.
  2. Invite learner to an academy: Sends an email inviting the learner to join the academy.  
  3. Create live workshop: Creates a new remote session which you can use conduct live workshops.  
  4. Invite learner to a live workshop: Sends an email inviting a learner to register for a session. 
 As an example, let's say you want a course invite to be sent to a prospect whenever a survey response is completed in Zoho Survey. Here's how you will go about it:

Enable Zoho Flow integration in your TrainerCentral academy

Before you proceed to try out this integration, make sure you navigate to the Integrations tab under the Settings menu (from the left pane) and activate this integration for it work seamlessly.


 
Steps:

1. Log into your Flow account and click Create Flow in my Flows.



2. Name your Flow (integration) and then you will then be directed to the Flow builder.



3. In the Builder, select your Trigger App (Zoho Survey) and select the trigger action (New response completed). Click on Connect to connect your Zoho account. 



4. Select Action app (TrainerCentral) from the Builder and select the action (Send an invite) that you want the action app to perform



5. Click Connect to select your TrainerCentral account and choose the course that you want the trainee to be invited to.
