Secure your content with Dynamic Watermarks


Watermarking is essential to secure your content from unauthorized access or distribution. By applying watermarks, such as academy logos, names, or learners’ email addresses, you can protect your intellectual property.

To access Dynamic Watermark:

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner next to the user profile. The Setting page will be displayed.

  2. Select the Dynamic Watermark under Content Protection. The Dynamic Watermarking page will be displayed.

 

Notes
Note: Watermarking can be applied to video and PDF documents. However, it cannot be applied to downloaded content.

Video watermarking

Video-based learning makes lessons more engaging, interactive, and easier to understand. However, the authenticity and security of the video may be compromised if it is tampered with, duplicated, or accessed by unauthorized users. Ensuring the integrity and protection of video content is essential for maintaining trust and delivering a secure learning experience.

Here, you can choose the watermark content, customize its position, and adjust the appearance of the watermark text.


Display options

Turn on Show Academy Logo, Show Academy Name, and Show Learner Email to watermark the academy logo, academy name, and learner’s email address on the video, respectively. You can choose to turn on one or all of the display options.


Position options

Choose the position of your watermark with these options:

  • Change the watermark position by choosing from Top Right, Top Left, Top Center, Bottom right, Bottom Left, Bottom Center, Center Left, Center Right, or Center.

  • Enable Random Movement to make the content move across the screen randomly.

  • Specify the time interval in seconds in the Move every field.



Appearance


Select the text color, size, and visibility for your watermark text to match your video.

Text: Choose White or Black option to display the text color.
Size: Adjust the size of the watermark using the slider.
Visibility: Adjust the visibility of the watermark using the slider.

PDF watermarking

PDF-based learning makes educational content easy to access, share, and review. However, if the content is shared with unintended recipients, the time, effort, and resources invested by you in creating the training material may be compromised. To address this, you can apply dynamic watermarking to your PDF content and protect it.

You can choose content, customize its style and position, and adjust the appearance of the watermark text.



Display options

Turn on Show Academy Logos, Show Academy Name, and Show Learner Email Address to watermark the academy logo, academy name, and email of the learner who is viewing the document email on the PDF, respectively.


Alignment


Choose how you want the watermark to appear on the document by selecting the alignment. Select Fixed to keep the watermark in a fixed position the document and select Diagonal for the watermark to appear diagonally on the document.


Position options

Choose to style the watermark in either a Fixed position or a Diagonal layout, as required.

Change the watermark position by choosing from Top Right, Top Left, Top Center, Bottom right, Bottom Left, Bottom Center, Center Left, Center Right, or Center.


Appearance


Select the text color, size, and visibility for your watermark text to match your PDF.

Text: Choose the White or Black option to display the text color.
Size: Adjust the size of the watermark using the slider.
Visibility: Adjust the visibility of the watermark using the slider.


Save or Reset Changes  
Click Reset to discard the changes made to the video and PDF watermarking settings.
Click Save to apply the changes.
