Site General Settings

Branding is paramount in creating a unique identity, building recognition and loyalty, enhancing marketing efforts, and adding value to your academy. In TrainerCentral, you can enhance your academy's brand through the following options:
  1. Upload academy logo and favicon
  2. Edit academy's name
  3. Add social media links
  4. Add footer links
  5. Add custom footer links


To begin:
  1. Sign in as an admin.
  2. Navigate to the Site tab in the left pane and click the Settings tab.
  3. Select the General tab. The Settings webpage will be displayed.

Upload or Remove academy logo and favicon

Your academy's brand is represented by its logo and favicon. Registering your academy's brand in the learner's mind plays a vital role in retaining them in the academy.
Logo: A graphical symbol or emblem that represents your academy. It is a visual representation of your academy. This logo will be displayed in the header section of the academy's website.
  1. Click Upload logo and select the logo from your device.
  2. Click Remove if you want to remove the existing logo from the site. 

    The accepted formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and SVG, the maximum size of the logo should be 100 KB and the recommended dimensions are 175px * 50px.

Favicon: A favicon, short for "favorite icon," is a small graphic icon or image associated with your academy. It will appear in the browser's address bar, tabs, bookmarks, and other places where the site is displayed or saved.
  1. Click Upload favicon and select the preferred favicon from your device.
  2. Click Remove if you want to remove the existing favicon from the site.
    The accepted formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and SVG, the maximum size of the favicon should be 100 KB and the recommended dimensions are 16px * 16px or 32px * 32px.

    The academy website footer includes several links to improve its branding and provide additional information. The options provided below will be included in the footer section.

Edit academy's name

Academy's name: Enter the preferred academy's name.
Website: Add the related website address.
Twitter: Enter the academy's Twitter link.
Facebook: Enter the academy's Facebook link.
LinkedIn: Enter the academy's LinkedIn link.
Terms and Conditions: Enter the academy's Terms and Conditions link.
Privacy policy: Enter the academy's Privacy policy link.
You can also include your own custom links, such as a webinar and promotional video, which will be displayed in the footer section.
  1. Click Add links to add your custom link field and enter the preferred links.
  2. Edit icon: Edits the Add link field name.
  3. Delete icon: Deletes the Add link field.
Save and Reset 
Click Save to save your changes.
Click Reset to clear the changes.
