Leverage Spotlight mode in live sessions for focused discussions

Leverage Spotlight mode in live sessions for focused discussions

Hello everyone,

Imagine you're hosting a session with multiple trainers. During the session, attendees find it difficult to follow trainers because the main video feed keeps switching when different people speak. The constant switching creates an unpleasant experience and easily distracts the attendees. But you want to maintain the attendees' focus solely on the key speaker. What can you do?

Welcome to the TrainerCentral Spotlight series. Today, we'll highlight the Spotlight feature that will help you handle this exact scenario.

What is Spotlight mode?

The Spotlight mode in TrainerCentral highlights a selected person's video feed in the center of the screen, allowing attendees to see and hear them clearly. You can spotlight a maximum of four video feeds in a session at a time, and the video can be yours, other trainers, or attendees.

This feature makes the session feel more professional, and attendees can concentrate on the speaker without much distraction. You can use this when you're giving announcements and keynote speeches.

To learn how to enable this feature, refer to this
help article.

What are the additional benefits of using the spotlight feature?

Clearer recording: The session recording with Spotlight mode makes the recording insightful and valuable for replay.

Improves learning and retention: Consistent focus on the speaker makes the attendees grasp concepts better.

Foster panel discussions with guest trainers: Invite guest trainers and ensure they're both seen and heard, fostering meaningful discussions.

Leverage the Spotlight mode for better engagement and more professional delivery.
