As a trainer, you evaluate your learners by providing multiple assessments to gauge their understanding of the subject. Imagine creating a course with multi-level assessments to assess their progress. You want to carefully review these tests to improve the course quality. Additionally, you wish to issue certificates to learners who meet the specified passing criteria. How can this be achieved?
Welcome to the TrainerCentral Tips and Tricks series. Today, we'll provide tips on how to issue certificates based on their test grades.
You can achieve this by following the three steps specified below.
Step 1
Once you create the course, you have to add tests for which the grade limitation needs to be set.
Now that you've configured the passing grades for all tests, the next step is to enable the course settings.
Navigate to the course Settings.
Select the Enforce lesson completion based on test grades option. This setting will prevent your learners from completing the lesson until they secure passing grades on tests.
Step 3
Now you have to enable the certificates for all learners.
Navigate to the Certificate tab and create a certificate.
Enable the option Issue completion certificate. This will allow you to issue a certificate only when learners achieve 100% course completion.
Learners must secure passing grades on added tests to achieve 100% course completion. Once they do, a certificate will be automatically issued to them.
