Attend a live workshop

How can my learners register for and access a live workshop?

As soon as you promote your live workshops, your prospects can register for the session using the session link and attend the session through the access link that is shared to their inbox post registration.

If registration is not enabled, they can click on the session link and access the session as soon as it's launched. If registration is enabled, they will have to access the session link that is sent to their registered email address.

Once registration is done, your learner will receive an email confirming their registration and the session access link directly to their inbox.

Attendees can connect through a web browser or use the audience (Viewer) app to interact with you during your session from their mobile devices or laptops. They can see, hear, and follow along with you as you present, as well as  "like" your slides, pose questions, answer polls, and provide feedback at the end of the session.

Follow slides, screenshare and your audio/video

Attendees can view the current slide and any that preceded it. No need to repeat yourself to latecomers; they'll be able to catch up on what they missed. Learners can also follow your audio/video and watch when your share your screen too.

Start a chat

Attendees can click the Chat tab on the left side of the screen, enter a message in the text box, and press Enter or click Send. You'll see the chat conversation, along with the attendee's name and the time at which the message was sent.

Private Chat Room

An attendee can also initiate a private chat with the trainers in a session by clicking on Chat with trainers in the Chats pane.

Request for open mic

Your learners can also request for mic and camera access to share their audio, video and even share their computer screen to the entire class.

Ask questions

Now shy attendees can ask questions, too. To pose a question, they just select the Question tab from the right side of the screen and enter their question in the text box. Questions can be up- or down-voted by other attendees.

You will be notified about questions as soon as they're sent. You can choose to answer immediately ( projecting them to your audience) or save them for later. When the question is projected, the question status changes to Answered.

Note: In remote sessions, you will have the option to reply privately or publicly to attendees by text.

Answer polls

Evaluate attendees' knowledge during the session. Start a poll and ask your attendees to answer the questions. Attendees will see a poll pop up or a notification on the Poll tab.

They can answer instantly or later by clicking on Participate to join a poll from the Polls tab. All polls answered by attendees will move from the Unanswered tab to the Answered tab.

If an attendee submits a reply, TrainerCentral will send them a pop-up stating "Poll submitted successfully."

Reactions

Digital icons, known as reactions, are a means of expressing emotions without words. Reactions can enhance a live session's interactivity, making it more enjoyable and captivating. In addition, they allow your attendees to communicate in a friendly manner, and help to overcome language, cultural, and background barriers. Reactions serve as a nonverbal method of expression that promotes inclusivity and participation in online sessions.

To initiate reactions:

During a live session or live lesson, if you want to react to any speaker, you can use the reactions feature to express your emotions or thoughts.
  1. Click on the Reactions icon located in the lower part of the screen. The reactions are categorized into Emotions, Celebrations, Everyday life, and Sports.
  2. Choose the reaction that you want to use as your own. Once selected, the chosen reaction will float on the screen for a few seconds and all attendees can view it.

Download Handouts

Attendees can download the extra training content that you, the trainer, has added under the Handouts section (if available) which will help them in better content retention.

Take Notes

Attendees can note down key ideas and important concepts shared during the session using the "Notes" feature. They can click on Notes icon in the bottom left corner to begin taking notes.

Once they finish taking notes, they can click "Send to mail" to send the notes as a text file to their registered mail id.

Session and user details

Your attendees can view details about an ongoing session and their own user information when they click the Info tab.

Participate in Tests

Your learners can also participate in tests launched by you and share their answers and replies to the questions asked and you can track their learning curve based on their scores helping you gamify the entire experience.

Provide rating and feedback

After you finish the session, attendees will see a Rating window. Ask them to rate the session (out of five stars) and provide feedback (collective response) about your performance. Once they're done, a customized thank you message will be sent to them.
